As part of International Women’s Day, Institut français and the Embassies of France and Morocco to Norway are pleased to invite you to debate issues of women’s rights in the world.

Petits Bonheurs, directed by Mohamed Chrif Tribak, introduces us to the complexity of the situations that women face. This film tells the story of women living in a large traditional house in Morocco in the 1950s, who have made music a means of expression capable of changing the reality hostile to the women’s emancipation.

Come and discover the documentary Des Femmes et des Hommes, directed by Frédérique Bedos, journalist and founder of Imagine Project. This film gives us a striking reflection of the inequality between women and men in the 21st century around the world.

The screening will be preceded by a discussion between Karen Martinon, Head of Communication of Imagine Project and Hanna Rummelhoff, consultant at JURK Norway (Legal Advice for Women).
